Location and Maps

Fontana is located just outside the eastern edge of Charlottesville's city limits. It is one-half mile north on Route 20 from the intersection of Route 20 with Route 250. Fontana enjoys a pastoral look over Dowden Towe Park, spectacular Blue Ridge Mountain views to the west, and views of Monticello, Browns Mountain, and the Carter's Mountain range to the south.
